I have enjoyed photographing nature since my first photography class in high school. Shortly after moving to Hawaii in 2008, I took up painting and have been exploring the ways in which I can use color, texture, and shapes to capture the essence of Hawaii’s beauty. I especially enjoy painting on location, from the warm sandy beaches to the cool upcountry cattle ranches and the picturesque small towns in between.
